BPJS Kesehatan Ensures That The Participation Status Of Sritex Workers Who Are Laid Off Remains Active

JAKARTA - Director of BPJS Kesehatan Ali Ghufron Mukti ensured that the membership status of the National Health Insurance (JKN) for PT Sritex workers was still active despite termination of employment (PHK).

"And of course his family is still getting guarantees," said Ali Ghufron in a meeting with Commission IX of the DPR RI Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 11.

Ali said that former Sritex workers do not need to pay dues for six months and can use the necessary health services.

"So we conclude that a total of 10,355 former PT Sritex workers and 11,006 family members have PHP status with health insurance benefits for a maximum of 6 months without paying dues and are currently active with the benefits of guaranteeing layoffs and can access health services when needed," said Ali.

Ali added that the health insurance benefits are a maximum of six months from the occurrence of layoffs from the March-August 2025 period.

"BPJS Kesehatan continues to coordinate with the health office and the Sukoharjo district social office as an effort to continue the participation of JKN, former workers affected by layoffs from PT Sritex," he concluded.
