Light Steel Aplicator Killed By Power In Sukmajaya Depok

JAKARTA - A man with the initials S (32) died from being electrocuted while installing a light steel roof frame on Jalan Studio Alam TVRI, Sukmajaya, Depok City, on Monday, March 10, yesterday.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, revealed that the incident occurred when the victim was installing a four-meter-long light steel roof framework. However, the light steel stuck to the high-voltage electric cable at the location.

"So the light steel stuck to the high tengangan electric cable at the location, caused the victim to be electrocuted and fell," said Ade Ary in his statement, Tuesday, March 11.

The witness who saw it immediately took the victim to the hospital for medical treatment.

"Arriving at the HGA Hospital, the victim received medical treatment," he said.

However, the victim was declared dead with burns to the palms and ankles.

"The burns were due to electrocution and he also had bruises on his head as a result of falling," continued Ade Ary.

The victim's family accepted the incident and did not want to conduct an autopsy on S.
