Sigi Regent: ASN Policy To Enter Office For 3 Days Will Be Implemented

SIGI - Sigi Regency Government (Pemkab), Central Sulawesi, ensures that it immediately implements central government policies regarding the rules of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) which only enter the office for three days a week in the area.

"All regions must carry out this policy," said Sigi Regent Moh Rizal Intjenae in Bora Village, Antara, Monday, March 10.

This policy is implemented to support the efforts of the central government in budget efficiency. "I will also carry out budget efficiency, indeed I have recently entered the office, so in the future I will see how the budget posture in the Sigi Regency government is before making efficiency in each regional apparatus organization (OPD) in Sigi," he said.

He said the budget efficiency was related to official travel, procurement of office stationery (ATK), the cost of meeting needs and other activities.

"Essentially everything directed by President Prabowo Subianto through the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) including efficiency for official travel, procurement of ATK, meetings and other activities we will carry out, so that if there is an service that is not very important, it will be efficient," he said.

According to him, this budget efficiency policy is not new because it has been carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic with a refocusing scheme or budget diversion for urgent matters.

"Of course, this efficiency issue is normal just because it has just been done, it is considered extraordinary," he said.

Rizal emphasized that basically the Sigi Regency Government will follow the policies that have become the decisions of the Central Government.

"If it has become a central policy, we as local governments will certainly also follow suit," he said.

Previously, the central government officially implemented new rules for ASN in 2025.

Based on this policy, ASN is only required to work in the office for three days a week, while the rest is applied to the working system from anywhere (WFA).

The main goal of the policy is to create a more modern and efficient bureaucracy, so that it is hoped that public services can be more optimal with the growing digitalization support.
