Motorcycle Wild Racing In Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta Disbanded By Joint Officers

Joint officers from the Central Jakarta Metro Police and the Pomdam Jaya Military Police dispersed the illegal racing action in the Rawasari area, Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta, Sunday, March 9, early in the morning.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro, said the disbandment was carried out after his party received reports from the public who were worried about illegal racing at the location.

"We immediately dispatched a joint team to respond quickly to residents' reports. This illegal race not only endangers the perpetrators, but also other road users," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Sunday, March 9, morning.

The joint team deployed consisted of 20 Central Jakarta Metro Police Precision personnel, 10 Cempaka Putih Police personnel and 6 PM Polmdam Jaya personnel.

The joint patrol will continue to be improved to prevent illegal racing from recurring in the Central Jakarta area.

"We will continue to anticipate similar actions so that people feel safe and comfortable, especially in vulnerable hours," he said.

After the disbandment was carried out, officers remained on guard at the location to ensure the situation remained conducive and prevented the perpetrators from holding illegal racing again.
