Then, the government also prepared discounted toll rates on several toll roads during the period of homecoming flow and the return flow of Eid holidays.
Adita said the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) together with related ministries and institutions had checked the readiness of public transportation at various transportation nodes.
The Ministry of Transportation will also issue a joint decree with the Ministry of Public Works and Korlantas Polri to regulate traffic during the homecoming period.
The coordination between ministries and institutions aims to ensure that the arrangements run effectively, and anticipate the potential for traffic congestion on all routes, both land, sea, and air.
Not only discounted toll rates, Adita said a number of transportation operators would provide special ticket prices with certain discounts.
On the same occasion, he stated that the government encourages people to go home faster in order to avoid congestion due to traffic congestion on certain dates, especially before and after Eid.
Thus, said Adita, the government is also preparing a work from anywhere/flexible working arrangement (FWA), especially for the state civil apparatus (ASN).
"For this FWA, the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform is preparing its rules as a reference for ASN," he said.
