Puan Together SBY And Jokowi's Moment In Magelang Retret, Until Megawati's Message To Prabowo

MAGELANG- Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, met the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the regional head recruitment event at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java. At that moment, Puan admitted to discussing with the two former Indonesian presidents.

"Silaturahmi is relaxed, talking (while discussing, ed)," said Puan after attending the closing of the regional head retreat at Akmil Magelang, Central Java, Friday, February 28.

It is known that the moment Puan met SBY-Jokowi occurred when she and Prabowo with the Chairman of the MPR RI Ahmad Muzani and the Chairman of the DPD RI Sultan B Najamuddin were waiting for the Senja Parade event to begin on Thursday, February 27, afternoon. They chatted in the transit room and both wore Reserve Components (Komcad) uniforms.

Puan revealed what President Prabowo said about the moment. Namely, how to relax the three presidents with the heads of institutions into a place to exchange ideas in building Indonesia.

"To gather and stay in touch with 3 presidents and heads of institutions in a very relaxed situation with all regional heads to work together to exchange ideas in building the nation and state," explained Bung Karno's grandson.

Actually, said Puan, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri was also invited to attend the Senja Parade at the regional head retreat but was unable to attend. Even so, Puan revealed the message from the PDI-P General Chairperson (PDIP) to President Prabowo regarding the retret of regional heads.

"Hopefully the event will run well and smoothly, useful for the nation and state," said Puan conveying Megawati's message.

When asked about Megawati's plan to meet Prabowo, Puan confirmed that the two would meet soon.

"Certainly, definitely. As soon as possible, God willing, as soon as possible," said Puan.

Previously, Puan fulfilled the invitation to attend the Senja Parade and the lowering of the Red and White flag which was held at the Pancasila field, the Military Academy, Magelang, Thursday, February 27. Directly led by President Prabowo Subianto, the Senja Parade was also attended by SBY and Jokowi.

This dusk parade is part of a series of regional head retreats. The dusk parade was attended by regional heads and deputy regional heads who attended. A total of 1,919 cadets were participants in the ceremony where 1,158 of them came from Akmil cadets, 376 cadets from Akpol, and 385 Defense University (IDU) cadets.
