Police Deploy Personnel To Set Traffic At Vehicle Density Points During Ramadan In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has anticipated the location points for vehicle congestion in Jakarta during the month of Ramadan 1446 Hijri.

"We will map this, we will mitigate and we will place personnel in that place to make arrangements and safeguards," said Director of Traffic and Traffic of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 27.

In addition, before Ramadan, the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya will guard the community, of course, who will carry out fasting.

"Especially in the first weeks, people want to go home immediately, so we have also anticipated it. Certain points and community activities, such as the distribution of takjil," he said.

Points of vehicle density locations such as in the Lebak Bulus area, Bendungan Hilir, Bundaran HI, along the route from Pancoran to Pasar Minggu, Daan Mogot to Kalideres.

"So is Kalimalang. The Kalimalang route is a fairly high community activity in the fasting month," said Latif.

Not only in the afternoon or before breaking the fast, the police will provide security at night.
