Children With Disabilities Victims Of Obscenity Of Two Men In Jatinegara Had A Kidnapping

East Jakarta Metro Police finally revealed the perpetrators of sexual harassment against children with disabilities that occurred in the Bidara Cina area, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

"There are two perpetrators, the initials B alias O and I," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed by VOI, Monday, February 24.

The two suspects have now been detained at the East Jakarta Metro Police. Meanwhile, the victim is a person with a disability.

Kombes Nicolas said the incident began when the victim's mother remarried to a man, so the victim was abandoned by her mother.

"So you see, the mother concerned remarried. Her child with disabilities, her mother remarried, leaving her. Her mother was not concerned about her. In the end, she was living everywhere," he said.

Because the victim was not well maintained, then two perpetrators were interested in the victim who was a child with disabilities.

"The two perpetrators who were attracted to the child concerned, then finally had sexual intercourse repeatedly," he said.

In fact, the two perpetrators also had time to take the victim away. But finally the two perpetrators were arrested.

"So the first report to us is not a case of death, but of escaping minors. The perpetrator is om-om or a father who is no longer young, only he has divorced his wife," he said.

In addition, the East Jakarta Metro Police also claimed to have collaborated with relevant institutions and ministries to grant victims the rights as children with special needs.

Previously, cases of sexual abuse against children with disabilities occurred in the Bidara Cina area, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

Chairman of the National Commission for Child Protection (PA) Agustinus Sirait confirmed the incident. His party has also monitored the harassment case.

Agustinus said that currently, the perpetrators of harassment have been arrested by the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit. There are two perpetrators.

"Currently, the suspect is already at the East Jakarta Police. There are two perpetrators or suspects," Agustinus told reporters, Friday, February 21.

Agustinus confirmed that the victim of the abuse case was a child with disabilities.

"The victim is a child with a disability. Do not let this disabled child become a victim again for the next time," he said.
