Cakung Rusunawa Security Cabuli Minors In Elevators

JAKARTA - Obscenity against minors occurred in an elevator in the Rusunawa area of Cakung, East Jakarta. The victim is known to have the initials ZPH (7).

Ironically, the perpetrator of sexual abuse is the security guard of the Cakung Rusunawa. the perpetrator with the initials BF alias A (35) launched an obscene act in an elevator when the victim was about to go to the 22nd floor of Rusunawa Cakung.

"The modus operandi of the suspect was carried out by the suspect in the elevator. The suspect along with the victim had one elevator, they went up from the ground floor to the 22nd floor. The suspect was a security guard, security in the Rusunawa," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed by VOI, Monday, February 24.

While in the elevator, the victim received inappropriate treatment from the perpetrator. Furthermore, on the 22nd floor, the victim managed to escape from the perpetrator's grip.

Then the victim reported the incident to his parents. Luckily, the perpetrator's lecherous act was caught on CCTV surveillance cameras to be used as evidence.

After receiving the report, the police immediately arrested the perpetrator. The perpetrator also admitted his actions.

In addition, the police also confiscated CCTV footage and the victim's clothes and the suspect used at the time of the incident.

Currently, the perpetrator is in the detention cell of the East Jakarta Metro Police.

"The suspect was attracted to the victim and the suspect stated that you are beautiful. Then the suspect grabbed and touched and kissed the victim's cheek, cheek and cheek," explained the Police Chief.

The evidence confiscated was one table for the victim's clothes, one table for the suspect's clothes and one flash drive containing CCTV footage.

As a result of his actions, the suspect with the initials BF alias A was charged with Article 76E, in conjunction with Article 82 of Law No. 17 of 2016 concerning the crime of child molestation or child protection.

"The suspect BF alias A is threatened with 15 years in prison and a fine of 5 billion rupiah," he said.

To anticipate recurring incidents, the Police Chief appealed to parents to be aware of child predators who are close people in the environment.

"From the existing cases, it can be seen that the cases of death are people who know each other, those who are closest to us. The predators are all around us," he said.
