Firefighters Evacuate Rings Pinting The Fingers Of Residents To Swelling

JAKARTA - East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officers evacuated the fingers of residents who were pinched with rings until the condition of their fingers swelled. The evacuation was carried out at the Gulkarmat Duren Sawit Sector Office, Jalan Raya Kalimalang, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.

"Yes, there is the handling of the release of the ring at the Duren Sawit Sector Office," said Head of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Abdul Wahid, Sunday, February 23.

The evacuation process did not take long. After the resident came to the Duren Sawit Sector post, Gulkarmat officers then used a small gerinda to cut the ring that had clamped the victim's finger.

"The evacuation process began when the reporter came to the sector office to ask for help in releasing the can ring on the ring finger of his right hand which had caused swelling," he said.

Because the officer has experience in cutting the ring on the resident's finger, officers do not need much time in the evacuation process.

"Handling lasts 5 minutes by 3 rescue personnel," he said.
