Viva Yoga Invites Cipayung Group Alumni Plus Collaboration To Build The Nation

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Transmigration (Wamentrans) who is also a politician from Viva Yoga Mauladi invites alumni of the Cipayung Plus group to collaborate and work together to build the nation.

This was conveyed by Viva Yoga, while attending the opening of the VII National Conference of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement Alumni Association (IKA-PMII) in Jakarta, Friday (21/1), as stated in Jakarta, Saturday.

"Because the vision of the Cipayung group is to build democracy and national civilization," said Viva Yoga.

According to him, the Cipayung Plus group can collaborate to build the nation because it is considered capable of producing young national flowers, and participates in developing the quality of democratic life.

In addition, he said that the group is a strategic set of student organizations. Moreover, he said, in the early days of the New Order, they became the strength of students who were influential in the transition of power from the Old Order to the New Order.

"At that time, the Cipayung group encouraged the existing government to carry out Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia purely and consistently," said Viva, who once served as Chair of the PB Islamic Student Association (HMI).

He also said that the group could be invited to collaborate because it could contribute to development programs.

Many alumni of the Cipayung Plus Group exist in various state institutions and play an important role in the process of brightening and improving the quality of democracy, he said.

The Cipayung Plus group consists of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII), the Islamic Student Association (HMI), the Indonesian National Student Movement (GMNI), the Indonesian Catholic Student Association (PMKRI), and the Indonesian Christian Student Movement (GMKI).
