Law Dewa 19, Ministry Of PKP Make Sure Not To Use The State Budget

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait (Ara) ensured that the Ministry of PKP in inviting Dewa 19 did not use the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).

"There is no ABBN, just ask (Ahmad) Dhani. Dhani doesn't want to be paid, he doesn't get paid. Ask Dhani just let Dhani explain," said Minister Ara as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 20.

He said Ahmad Dhani often held concerts without asking for payment, even for the provision of concert equipment he did himself.

Maruara ensured that no state money was used to pay the Dewa 19 concert.

"Dhani sings in those places, he is not paid. Including tomorrow, he is not paid. Until the sound system is from Dhani, just ask Dhani," said Ara.

Information on the concert plan is based on the circular of the Launching Logo invitation of the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas, where the agenda will also be presented with an art performance that will feature Dewa 19.

Meanwhile, the invitation was in a letter numbered HM 0101-Mn/001 regarding the invitation to Launch and Perform the Art.

"Based on Presidential Regulation Number 191 of 2024 concerning the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas and Regulation of the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Number 1 of 2024 concerning Organization and Work Procedures of the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas, together, we respectfully expect the presence of Mr/Mother at the Launching Logo of the Ministry of Housing and Settlement and Art Planning to display DEWA 19," reads the invitation.
