JAKARTA - The police revealed the role of ADK (45) in the case of methamphetamine and marijuana drugs involving famous musician Fariz RM. The Deputy for Drugs at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Telly Areska Putra, said that ADK was Fariz RM's former personal driver. In this case, ADK is the person Fariz RM asked to buy the illicit goods.

"ADK as an order from the suspect FRM (Fariz RM) to buy methamphetamine and marijuana which are evidence in this case," Kompol Telly Areska told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, February 20.

He said, ADK is given a salary of Rp. 100-200 thousand per purchase of methamphetamine and marijuana.

"Rp. 100-200 thousand according to the suspect's confession," he said.

According to Kompol Telly Areska, ADK bought the illicit goods to someone with the initials O. However, he denied that the perpetrator O was a network of artists.

"Allegedly from the initials O. Not from among artists," he explained.

Fariz RM and ADK were named suspects and charged with Article 111 paragraph (1), Article 112 paragraph (1), Article 114 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a penalty of 5 to 20 years in prison.
