Musician Fariz RM Arrested For Sing Former Driver

TANGERANG Deputy Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit (Wakasat), Commissioner Telly Areska Putra said Fariz RM's arrest was the result of the arrest of his former driver, ADK. Since then the police have developed and succeeded in arresting Faris RM.

Kompol Telly said, the arrest of ADK began with a resident's report, on Monday, February 17. On that basis, his party conducted an investigation until they finally arrested ADK on Jalan Sunter, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

"The suspect was arrested, first the ADK is male (45)," Areska told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, February 20.

After that, his party developed a man who previously worked as a Fariz RM driver. It is known that ADK often gives the illicit goods to Fariz RM.

Then his party conducted an investigation until they finally arrested Fariz RM in the Lebak Gede area, Bandung, West Java.

"TKP second shuttle travel Jakarta Holiday, Lebak Gede, Coblong, Bandung, West Java," he said.

In addition to making arrests, his party also found evidence of methamphetamine weighing 0.89 and 7.4 grams of marijuana.

Currently the two suspects have been named. They were charged with Article 111 paragraph (1), Article 112 paragraph (1), Article 114 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a penalty of 5 to 20 years in prison.
