Police Arrested Jambret Perpetrator In Ciputat In Bekasi, Victim Dies

TANGERANG - Police arrested the perpetrator with the initials F alias Bolang who allegedly snatched the cellphone of a middle-aged woman, with the initials WSA until she died on Jalan Maruga, Ciputat, South Tangerang (Tangsel).

East Ciputat Police Chief, Commissioner Bambang Askar Sodiq said Bolang was arrested in Bekasi Regency, West Java, Tuesday, February 18, evening.

"It confirms that the perpetrator has been arrested and is currently being handled by the Sub-Directorate of Resmob Polda Metro Jaya. He was secured by the Resmob Sub-Directorate in the Bekasi area on Tuesday night," Bambang said when confirmed, Thursday, February 20.

Separately, Panit V Sub-Directorate of Resmob Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Iptu Nurul Farouq Fadillah said that based on the initial examination, Bolang admitted that he had acted in four locations.

"Temporary confessions there are 4 crime scenes. On 14 there are 1 tkp and on 15 there are 3 TKP," he said

Regarding the items stolen by the perpetrator during the mugging on Jalan Maruga, said Nurul, he had stolen a green Infinix cellphone.

"The results are in the form of 1 unit of a Green Infinix cellphone," he said.

When asked in more detail, Fadillah was reluctant to answer.

Previously, a woman with the initials WSA died as a result of falling from a motorbike after being snatched on Jalan Maruga, Sarua, South Tangerang, Banten, on Saturday, February 14, the morning.

The incident began when the victim, who was riding a motorcycle, was grabbed by another motorized vehicle and fell.

"The victim was taken to the nearest Puskesmas and after being examined the victim was declared dead," he explained.
