Prabowo's Message To Regional Heads: Remember! Brothers Chosen To Be Community Servants

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto has inaugurated all regional heads in Indonesia for the period 2025-2030 at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, February 20. This inauguration ceremony was attended by 961 regional heads from 481 regions.

In his direction, Prabowo reminded all regional heads to carry out the mandate given by the people.

"I want to remind you. On behalf of the country and the Indonesian nation, you are chosen, you are a servant of the people. You are a servant of the people. You must defend the interests of the people, protect the interests of the people, and fight for the improvement of their lives. That is our duty," Prabowo said in a Youtube broadcast by the State Secretariat.

In the midst of Indonesia's diversity, Prabowo also reminded that all Indonesian people have been united in the big family of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Although it comes from different parties, religions and ethnicities, we have been born into the extended family of the Republic of Indonesia, the red and white family, the big family of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika," said Prabowo.

It is known that the inauguration ceremony for the regional head was attended by 33 governors, 333 deputy governors, 363 regents, 362 deputy regents, 85 mayors, and 85 deputy mayors from 481 regions.

Prabowo said that the inauguration ceremony for this regional head showed that Indonesia was a big country.

"This shows how great our nation is, the fourth of the world's population, is that we have a living democracy, which is running, which is dynamic," said Prabowo.

After the inauguration ceremony, all regional heads are scheduled to take part in a retreat or briefing at the Military Academy (Akmil) Magelang, Central Java, on February 21-28, 2025.
