Cak Imin Responds To Prabowo's Statement About "Back On The Right Way"

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP National Awakening Party (PKB), Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar or who is familiarly called Cak Imin, gave a response after being said to have "returned to the right path" by the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto.

When met after the 17th Anniversary (HUT) of the Gerindra Party in Sentul, Bogor, Saturday, February 15, 2025, he said that the party he led welcomed President Prabowo Subianto's offer to make KIM Plus a permanent coalition until 2029.

"Of course we are both in the coalition. In fact, Pak Prabowo's request for a permanent coalition is very good," he said.

According to him, the permanent coalition has a goal to be able to serve the people more effectively because it has become a complete part of development. Therefore, PKB participated in immediately realizing the welfare of the people.

"We want to be part of accelerating the prosperity of the people's welfare. PKB is part of a strong and strong coalition so that everything can be realized quickly," he said.

He also said that he would support this coalition until 2029. "In line with what is the need for our nation," he said.

As is known, the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, in his remarks at the celebration of the 17th Anniversary of the Gerindra Party, introduced several party chairmen who attended the event.

When introducing Cak Imin as the General Chair of PKB, Prabowo said that Cak Imin had returned to "the right path" or which meant he had entered the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus.

"Thank you for returning to the right path," said Prabowo.

Hearing this, Cak Imin cupped his hands enthusiastically with a big smile.

For information, KIM Plus is a party that supports the government, consisting of a number of parties that support the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair during the 2024 presidential election and other political parties that were previously opposite during the presidential election, again expressed support for the new government.

The parties include the Gerindra Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Democratic Party, the Golkar Party, the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), the Crescent Star Party, the Gelora Party, the NasDem Party, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and PKB.
