Pramono-Rano Team Ensures That The Family Allowance Of Heroes That Were Removed By The Provincial Government Due To Efficiency Is Returned

JAKARTA - The head of the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno transition team, Ima Mahdiah, ensured that the allowances for the hero family that were discussed would be removed by the DKI Provincial Government would be returned.

Ima emphasized this after asking for clarification from the DKI Jakarta Social Service regarding the termination of assistance for the families of fighters allocated from the 2025 APBD.

Ima emphasized that after being inaugurated as Governor-Deputy Governor for the period 2025-2030, Pramono and Rano would re-incorporate the budget allocation for the hero family allowance in the 2025 APBD changes.

"I have asked the Social Service for clarification, and it is true that this budget was previously included in the 2025 APBD, but it was crossed out by the Ministry of Home Affairs. I have reported this to Mas Pramono and confirmed that this budget will be returned in the Revised APBD," said Ima in his statement, Friday, February 14th

However, Ima admitted that the new revised APBD jisa was compiled after the second half of 2025. Thus, Pramono-Rano will look for alternative options to ensure that the families of the fighters continue to receive assistance during this waiting period.

One option that is being pushed is to use the budget from Baznas Bazis Bazis DKI Jakarta so that the hero family can still get proper support.

"I will temporarily encourage the Jakarta Baznas to provide assistance to the families of fighters until the Revised APBD is ratified. They should not be left without support just for administrative reasons," explained Ima.

On the one hand, Ima asked all parties to respect the services of the fighters and their families. According to him, the hero family has made a big contribution to the country and should not be ignored by the government.

"This is not just a matter of budget, but also a matter of respect for those who have fought for the sake of the nation. We will ensure this assistance remains and is not cut off," he said.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has removed the allocation of allowance budgets for the families of heroes, widows of heroes, and widows of pioneer independence in the 2024 APBD.

This was conveyed by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Social Service through a notification letter for the abolition of the budget allocation for awarding awards addressed to the hero family

"We hereby convey that the budget allocation for awarding the families of heroes, widows of heroes and widows of pioneer independence will be eliminated starting from the 2025 fiscal year," Premi wrote in the letter.

Premi admitted that the deletion of the budget allocation for the hero family allowance was carried out in the context of budget efficiency that the DKI Provincial Government had to do.

"This decision was taken in order to optimize regional financial policies in order to adjust to the priority of development and social welfare in DKI Jakarta Province," said Premi.
