JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi admitted that the DKI Provincial Government is still waiting for central government instructions before adjusting the work patterns of the state civil apparatus (ASN) amidst budget efficiency.

Teguh admitted that the DKI Provincial Government has not prepared a work flexibility mechanism for ASN to work from the office and work from home or anywhere.
The DKI Provincial Government, continued Teguh, is still processing regional budget adjustments from President Prabowo Subianto's instructions regarding efficiency.
"Currently we are still observing the issue, in a sense, we are both following up. Maybe in terms of efficiency related to the WFA problem, later we will also follow what is the policy of the central government," explained Teguh.
Previously, the Head of BKN Zudan Arif revealed the discourse of ASN to have an office for 3 days in a week. The rest, ASN can work anywhere (WFA).
Zudan explained that the policy that will apply to BKN is part of an effort to support budget efficiency, in accordance with Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 1 of 2025 which discusses spending efficiency in the implementation of the APBN and APBD for Fiscal Year 2025.
According to Zudan, the WFA 2-day system and 3-day WFO are the first steps of budget efficiency that can be taken to help reduce unnecessary costs.
