BANDA ACEH - The public prosecutor (JPU) of the Bireuen District Attorney's Office (Kejari), Aceh, executed a caning sentence for 10 convicts of Islamic law violations based on the decision of the Syar'iyah Court.

The execution of caning was also witnessed by the ranks of the Class IIB Bireuen Correctional Institution (Lapas), the Civil Service Police Unit and the Wilayatul Hisbah of Bireuen Regency, judges of the Syar'iyah Court of Bireuen, and others.

The convicts or convicts of the caning were Faisal Azwani, Abdus Samad, Effendi, M Hanafi, Wahyuddin, Oki Syahrial, Muhammad Akmal, and Jaldi Saputra.
