TANGERANG - Police arrested 3 of the 5 thieves of 9 BTS XL Axiata modules in the Soekarno Hatta Airport (Soetta) area. Deputy Chief of Police of Soetta Airport, AKBP Joko Sulistiono said the three perpetrators arrested had the initials AB, BB and S alias O. Meanwhile, 2 other perpetrators were included in the People's Wanted List (DPO), namely S and B.

The group of perpetrators consists of five people. Two have DPO status, this has committed crimes of theft 5 times in the jurisdiction of the Soekarno Hatta Airport Police, as well as in other places," Joko told reporters at the Soetta Airport Police, Tuesday, February 11.

Joko explained that the theft was revealed after the perpetrators AB and O were caught red-handed while stealing the RRU module component at BTS Pole Sheraton in the Soetta Airport area on Thursday, February 5. Meanwhile, BB and S managed to escape the arrest.

"Furthermore, suspect AB and Suspect S alias O along with evidence were brought to the Soetta Airport Police for examination," he said.

Furthermore, the two perpetrators were carried out a more in-depth examination to reveal the whereabouts of the BB perpetrators. It turned out that it was revealed that the BB actors acted as an introduction to the three perpetrators to act.

"(BB) as an introduction to the theft of the RRU module at BTS Pole Sheraton. (S) Committed the theft of the RRU Modul Component," he said.

Then the police revealed the whereabouts of the BB perpetrators, until they were finally arrested in Karang Malang, Pekalongan, Java Tenga, Thursday, February 6, evening.

At the Soetta Airport Police, it was discovered that the perpetrators had acted 5 times in theft, and the proceeds were sold to penadah B, who is still being searched.

The three perpetrators were named as suspects. They were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 7 years in prison
