Reshuffle Is Prabowo's Way Of Maintaining Public Trust

JAKARTA PPI Executive Director Adi Prayitno assessed that the signal of a reshuffle or cabinet reshuffle was a warning from President Prabowo Subianto to his assistants who were deemed incompetent to work for the benefit of the people.

According to him, Prabowo's statement was a serious threat to the ministers, let alone conveyed openly.

He believes that the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia has pocketed the names of the ministers who will be removed.

This was also reinforced by a statement, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad who stated that there was a minister who was not in tune with the president.

"Just waiting to see when the reshuffle will be carried out. I think it's a serious threat from the president to his ministers who can't work for the people," said Adi, Sunday, February 9, 2025.

He saw that there was pressure from the president based on the performance of a number of his ministers who were considered not good, so that the noise due to policy was stronger than the benefits for the people.

"Just for example, the case of people's misery gets melon gas because they have to fight to buy at the base," he added.

Therefore, the cabinet reshuffle is a must as a consequence of the evaluation of the performance of the ministers.

In addition, reshuffle is also needed to maintain public trust in President Prabowo Subianto, so that his government's honeymoon does not end quickly.

"This point is what I call chasing time. If the government is late in realizing hopes, or promises that have been made, then trust will be eroded, and not good news if the government loses trust," said Adi.
