PDIP Calls Former Governors Of Jakarta Ready To Help Pramono-Rano Transition Team

Chairman of the PDI-P Central Executive Board (DPP) said the former Governors of DKI Jakarta were ready to assist the work of the transition team Pramono Anung-Rano Karno ahead of the inauguration of the Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta as a result of the 2024 Pilkada.

Djarot emphasized that as a former governor of DKI in 2017 and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) who served as Governor of Jakarta in 2014-2017 would definitely help the transition team, considering that both were PDIP cadres.

"If it's with us, Pak Pram-Bang Doel is sure, please, ask or not, we are ready to help. Pak Ahok is also ready to help," said Djarot when met in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, Tuesday, January 28.

Likewise with other former DKI Governors, starting from the Governor of DKI for the 1997-2007 period Sutiyoso, the Governor of DKI 2007-2012 Fauzi Bowo, to the Governor of DKI 2017-2022 Anies Baswedan.

Only the name Joko Widodo, the Governor of DKI 2012-2014, was not mentioned by Djarot. "Bang Tos is also ready to help, Mr. Anies is also ready to help, Mr. Foke too," said Djarot.

Members of the Pramono-Rano transition team have held several meetings with the ranks of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, ranging from the Acting Governor of DKI Teguh Setyabudi, the Regional Secretary of DKI, to the heads of offices.

The head of the Pramono-Rano transition team, Ima Mahdiah, revealed that his party was finalizing the Pramono-Rano work program to be harmonized with the DKI Provincial Government's regional work plan.

"What is certain is that the 100 working days discussion is also related to the 2025-2030 RPJMD and also certain Mas Pramono-Bang Doel campaign promises that we really have to enter," said Ima, some time ago.

It is projected that several superior Pramono-Rano programs can be run this year. The DKI Provincial Government has also started to tamper with the unexpected expenditure budget (BTT) in the 2025 APBD which is prepared for the Pramono-Rano program.

"But it also doesn't shift things that are already urgent, which are already every year, which are planned for 2025. We take things that are indeed unnecessary that we must set aside," he added.
