Kohod Villager Admits ID Card Loaned By Village Officials, Ends SHM In Tangerang Sea

TANGERANG, a resident of Kohod Village, Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency, revealed that their Identity Card (KTP) was borrowed by village officials without a clear notification. The loan turned out to lead to the issuance of a Certificate of Ownership (SHM) on land in the sea area of Tangerang Regency.

"He (the person) borrowed our ID card without explanation. Suddenly, the land already has a certificate," said Haerudin, a resident of Kohod Village, when met at the location, Tuesday, January 28. Haerudin added that in the process of issuing the SHM, residents had never been invited to consult or be given information before.

"We are not invited to compromise or deliberation at all. They act simply without the consent of the community," he said.

He also complained about land measurements by related parties, which were said to be for widening riverbanks, but in reality it was dredged by the developer.

"From the banks of the river, they took ten left-right meters, he said for the widening of the river. But now the developer has dredged it, the time we have narrowed it," explained Haerudin.

Haerudin suspects this project involves a large developer, namely the Agung Sedayu Group, but uses other companies as third parties to smooth the process.

"The name Agung Sedayu is used as an intimidation of residents. They use the company under him to run this project, so we feel we have no power to fight back," he said.

Furthermore, Haerudin suspected the involvement of the Kohod Village Head, Arsin, in the issuance of the SHM. The reason is, at the time of the incident, several unscrupulous village staff and village heads were seen directly monitoring the measurement process.

"Oknum kepala desa itu harus diusut tuntas. Jangan hanya ditahkan sertifikatnya, tapi juga harus ada tinda tindakan hukum terhadap dugaan korupsi yang terjadi," tegasnya.

Responding to this issue, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid, acknowledged the issuance of Building Use Rights (HGB) and SHM in the sea fence area.

According to Nusron, there are 263 fields in the form of HGB, consisting of: - 234 fields in the name of PT Intan Agung Makmur, - 20 fields in the name of PT Cahaya Inti Sentosa, - 9 fields in the name of individuals.

In addition, 17 fields of SHM were also found which were published in the area.

Kementerian ATR/BPN berjanji akan menindak tegas pihak-pihak yang terlibat, jika ditemukan adanya pelanggaran aturan dalam proses penerbitan sertifikat-sertifikat tersebut.

Meanwhile, the VOI TEAM tried to contact the Head of Kohod Village, Arsin, to ask for clarification regarding the profiteering of residents' names in the issuance of SHM. However, until this news was broadcast, the person concerned had not yet responded.
