Commemorating Isra Mi'raj, Al-Hasanah Mosque In Bogor Holds Mass Sunatan

Mass circumcision activities held by the Al-Hasanah Mosque in Cibinong, Bogor Regency (Ist)

BOGOR In commemoration of Isra Mi'raj as well as Haul KH Udjang Sidik, Al-Hasanah Mosque in Cibinong, Bogor Regency, held mass circumcision activities involving 34 children from three regions, namely Bogor City, Bogor Regency, and Depok, Sunday, January 26.

"This first year's activities were filled with mass circumcision involving 34 children. They came from Depok, Nanggewer (Bogor Regency), and Bogor City. Currently, we are conducting an evaluation so that this event can be better in the future," said Solahuddin, administrator of the Al-Hasanah Mosque DKM.

He explained that the series of Haul KH Udjang Sidik events for the first year began with social service activities in the form of mass circumcision, distribution of basic necessities, and giving children toys. The event was held in order to welcome the month of Rajab as well as commemorate Isra Mi'raj.

The activity lasted for two days, namely on January 25, 2025, at the Al-Hasanah Mosque, Roda Cage, Nanggewer Village, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency.

This event was attended by a number of important figures, including Dandim 0606 Bogor City, Lt. Col. Infantry Dwi Agung Prihanto, as well as local community leaders.

Solahuddin said that the main objective of this activity was to strengthen inter-regional relations and provide social benefits to people in need.

"Alhamdulillah, the participation of the participants is quite good. Many come from the surrounding area. We hope that this activity can be more lively and lively next year," he said.

Dandim 0606 Bogor City, Lt. Col. Infantry Dwi Agung Prihanto, who was also present at the event, revealed that this kind of activity is very useful, especially for the lower middle class.

"This activity really helps the community, especially the underprivileged. In addition to providing social assistance, we also hope that this event can improve their health and welfare," said Dwi Agung.

He also added that programs like this are important to build solidarity and togetherness.

"This social activity is not only a symbol of mutual cooperation, but also has a real impact on people in need. We hope that events like this can continue and become bigger, especially to commemorate important moments in Islam," he said.
