KENDARI - The High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) of Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) handed over the results of the auction of ore ore nickel which is evidence of PT Antam's mining corruption in Mandiodo Block, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, amounting to Rp42.3 billion to the state.

Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Attorney General's Office, Hendro Dewanto, represented by Aspidsus Iwan Catur Employees, said that the mining corruption case in the mining business permit (IUP) area of PT Antam has permanent legal force or inkrah so that evidence is carried out in collaboration with the Asset Recovery Agency.

Non-Tax State Revenue or PNBP amounting to Rp42.3 billion from the auction of evidence of PT Antam's mining corruption into the state treasury.

"Yesterday during our investigation, 126,000 metric tons of nickel were confiscated. Now, after having permanent legal force or inkrah, we conducted an auction in collaboration with the Asset Election Agency," said Iwan Catur as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, January 23.

He said the proceeds from the auction resulted in Rp42.3 billion, of which the money was after the court's decision had legal force that it would still be forwarded to the Konawe Kejari and then deposited into the state treasury.

"This money was previously kept by the Southeast Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office RPL and then forwarded to the Konawe Kejari and then deposited into the state treasury," he said.

The Konawe Kejari in the first quarter has also just deposited the results of a forestry crime case of Rp. 1 billion into the state treasury.

"Two days ago we also deposited the results of a forestry crime case amounting to Rp1 billion and has been deposited into the state. As a result, in the first quarter we have deposited PNBP of Rp43 billion," said Safir.
