Commission IV Of The House Of Representatives Is Surprised That The Minister Of Sakti Has No Intention Of Bringing The Sea Fence Case To Law Enforcement

JAKARTA - Member of Commission IV DPR Daniel Johan was surprised that the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) Sakti Wahyu Trenggono had no intention of bringing the case of the construction of a sea fence in Tangerang waters to the realm of law enforcement.

This was conveyed by Daniel after hearing the explanation of the Minister of Sakti in a working meeting of Commission IV of the DPR with the KKP, Thursday, January 23.

"After listening to the minister's explanation, how come there is no enthusiasm for efforts in law enforcement," said Daniel.

The West Kalimantan electoral district PKB legislator then questioned the function of the investigators at the KKP. "Although the minister explained only in the administrative aspect. I confirmed to the seniors there, there were investigators at the KKP. Then what for investigators if there is no legal action," said Daniel.

Daniel also asked the Minister of KKP to carry out the direction of the Chairman of Commission IV of the DPR Titiek Soeharto to immediately find out who the voter of the sea fence Daniel took action according to the applicable regulations. In addition to carrying out President Prabowo Subianto's orders to dismantle the 30-kilometer mysterious fence.

"So in accordance with the direction of the leadership and all of us so that the government and including in this case the KKP can immediately reveal clearly, clearly not only dismantling but also taking legal action so that people can believe that Indonesia is a state of law," said Daniel.

Previously, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono stated that his party plans to summon all parties suspected of being involved in the installation of a sea bamboo fence in Tangerang Regency.

Several parties were summoned, including PT Intan Agung Makmur or IAM and PT Cahaya Inti Sentosa or CIS which have an affiliation with Agung Sedayu Group.

This is in line with the findings of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning related to PT IAM which has 234 Building Use Rights Certificates in the sea bamboo fence area of Tangerang Regency, while CIS has 20 SHGB fields.

"Anyone who is heard is suspected of being involved in the construction of a sea fence in Tangerang Regency, we will ask about his involvement," said Sakti at the DPR Building, Thursday, January 23.

Sakti did not explain further when the IAM and CIS examinations were carried out. However, he confirmed that the examination of the actors suspected of being involved was ongoing until now.
