32 Police Stated Guilty In The 2024 DWP Audience Extortion Case, Recently Sanctioned With Demosi 4 To 8 Years

JAKARTA - The National Police's Professional and Security Division (Divpropam) has again held a trial of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) against four police officers suspected of extorting spectators at the 2024 Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) concert. All were found guilty and sentenced to demotion.

The four policemen found guilty were Kompol David Richardo Hutasoit or DRH, Kompol Rolando Victor Asi Hutajulu, Kompol Dimas Adity, and Kompol Palti Raja Sinaga.

Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Erdi Adrimulan Chaniago, said that Kompol David Richardo Hutasoit was sentenced to 8 years of demotion. In addition, undergoing special placement (patsus) for 30 days.

"The mutation is demotional for the next 8 years not being placed in law enforcement functions," Erdi told reporters, Wednesday, January 22.

No different, for the suspected Police Commissioner Rolando Victor Asi Hutajulu and Kompol Dimas Aditya who were also found guilty of being sanctioned for demotion for 8 years.

Only for the different Kompol Palti Raja Sinaga, the KKEP Panel of Judges was sentenced to a demonstration of 4 years, lower than the four violators.

"The mutation was demotional for four years," said Erdi.

Previously, as many as 28 members of Polda Metro Jaya had undergone a KKEP trial. All members of the police were found guilty and sanctioned.

Three of them, Kombes Donald Parlaungan Simanjuntak, AKP Yudhy Triananta Syaeful, and AKBP Malvino Edward Yusticia, were dishonorably dismissed (PTDH). In addition, several other members, such as Kompol Dzul Fadlan, Iptu SM, AKP Fauzan, and S, were subject to eight years of demotion.

Several other members also received demotion sanctions for five to eight years, including Bripka Ricky Sihite who was sentenced to five years of demotion, and Iptu Agung Setiawan with a demonstration sanction of six years.

Similar sanctions were also given to Brigadier Hendy Kurniawan, Iptu Jemi Ardianto, and Aipda Hadi Jhontua Simarmata who were sentenced to eight years of demotion. Meanwhile, Aipda Lutfi Hidayat was sentenced to a five-year demonstration.
