Minister Of PKP Asks OIKN To Review Entrepreneurs Who Slowly Build IKN

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait asked the Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono to review the slow entrepreneurs in building the capital city of the archipelago (IKN).

"Because there is a lot of background breaking, but the one who builds it a little. Earlier I discussed it, Mr. Basuki also agreed, reviewed those who have ground-breaking entrepreneurs who are already ground-breaking but may not build, not quickly build, so that they can be asked whether they want to continue or not," said Maruarar at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 21, as reported by ANTARA.

Maruarar assessed that it is important to review to ensure that projects that have started can resume immediately.

This step aims to make the available time productively utilized, in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto's direction.

"So you don't have to wait, for example, given a 1.5 year opportunity, but just ask them for one review, so that there is a quick move according to President Prabowo's direction, so that the steps are also private, priority is to be able to carry out investments in IKN. Especially for the serious," said Maruarar.

He said entrepreneurs who do not show seriousness in building IKN must be asked for certainty whether they want to continue or not.

If it does not show seriousness, the government will provide this opportunity to other parties who are more serious.

"I think it should be given a deadline when, if there is no, it means being given another opportunity. If you don't digitize, it will take a long time, while President Prabowo's direction must have a deadline. That's it," he concluded.
