Bank Panin Center, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, RT 01/03, Gelora Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, caught fire, Tuesday, January 21, afternoon.

Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officer, Saiful Kahfi, explained that the source of the fire came from the AHU room or the cooler of the building.

"The object caught fire in the AHU room or a chiler cooling room or building," said Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officer Saiful Kahfi when confirmed by VOI.

Although the fire broke out for several hours, the officers were successfully extinguished. The fire was extinguished at 11.47 WIB with 4 fire engines.

Meanwhile, 16 officers were deployed to extinguish the fire.

Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief, AKBP Aditya Sembiring confirmed the fire in Panin Bank.

"There has been a fire in the holding room of the Panin Bank's room cooling engine (AC) in the parking area of the Panin Bank building motorbike," said AKBP Aditya when confirmed.

The police chief said the fire cooling process was carried out by firefighters at 11.45 WIB.

"At 11.15 WIB, 4 firefighters carried out a fire extinguishing. At 11.45 WIB, the fire was declared safe by firefighters after going through the cooling process," he said.

Meanwhile, there were no casualties or injuries.

"The material loss is being investigated," he said.

Currently the case is being handled by the Tanah Abang Metro Police.
