Metro Jaya Police DVI Team Says There Are Several Bodies Of Glodok Fire Victims Found Not Impulsive

The Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Team of the Metro Jaya Police said that there were several bodies of victims of the Plaza Glodok fire, West Jakarta (Jakbar) that were not intact.

"Yes, many are not intact, we have found many pieces of the body," he said

Metro Jaya Police DVI Team, dr. Imam, Sunday, January 19.

He admitted that he was still waiting for antemortem data from the victim's family. Later, the data from the family will be matched with the victim's body.

"For the identified victims in the hospital. Because they are still waiting for data from the antemortem, so they haven't yet," he said.

He also said that the Metro Jaya Police DVI Team had opened a loss report. The goal is to find an identity rather than a Korhan.

Therefore, Imam asked people who felt that their family members had not returned home after the fire incident. So immediately report to his party.

"What is certain is the data from the Family Card, KTP, if needed, a DNA test will be carried out later," he said.

On the other hand, Imam also said that the search for the bodies of the missing victims in the fire at Glodok Plaza, West Jakarta, was temporarily suspended.

"The process of searching for victims is hampered, the ruins that if we enter again are dangerous, so it is possible that we will maximize it while waiting for (cleaning and tidying) from the building manager because to find out the details of the building structure," he concluded.
