Deputy Speaker Of The House Of Representatives Receives A Visit From The Singapore Ambassador, Discusses Renewable Energy And Non-MBG Food

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, received the Singapore Ambassador HE Mr. Kwok Kook Seng at the Nusantara III Building Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta. During the meeting, the two discussed the New Renewable Energy Cooperation (EBT) and food.

"Earlier we talked about renewable energy, talking about food, about cooperation in various fields," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Friday, January 17.

According to Dasco, Singapore has also held a meeting with the government represented by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, and the Minister of Investment to discuss the cooperation.

"Singapore has also met with the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, with the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Minister of Investment is talking about many things, including investment," said Dasco.

Nevertheless, Dasco said there had been no discussion about cooperation agreements in his meeting with Singapore representatives. According to him, the only thing discussed in the meeting was coordination regarding the future of EBT.

"Of course the cooperation talk will be held, earlier we just discussed various things about how to coordinate, how about the future of new and renewable energy," said Dasco.

When asked whether the meeting also discussed the issue of free nutritious food (MBG), Dasco ensured that there would be no discussion on this matter.

"We are not talking about MBG," said Dasco.
