Chairman of Commission VIII of the House of Representatives, Marwan Dasopang, said that the Indonesian Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar had asked the Saudi Arabian government not to make it difficult for Indonesian pilgrims who carried out tanazul or live in places to throw pilgrims or worshipers in Mina.

This was conveyed by Marwan when explaining the contents of the meeting between the Minister of Religion and the Minister of Hajj of Saudi Arabia, Wednesday, January 15.

Marwan said the Minister of Religion had conveyed about the space in Mina for Indonesian pilgrims who only received a share of 0.8 meters per person. The Minister of Religion, he said, also offered a scheme for Indonesian pilgrims to perform tanazul.

"Because it is tried with another scheme, which is mentioned by tanazul, the congregation will be kept in the hotel so that the mina room has benefits for the congregation who live there, and I heard the minister convey it up to 50 thousand pilgrims," said Marwan Dasopang.

The problem that arises, continued Marwan, is that the congregation who will carry out tanazul at the nearest hotel in Mina will find it difficult to go to the place to throw a sumrah after the arafah. He revealed, it took 4-5 hours around the congregation.

"Usually the Saudi government through the army is expelled not to be in groups, now this is what the minister of religion wants to be used as a program, so it is not expelled," he said.

Therefore, according to him, there needs to be a simulation to implement the congregation who performs the tanazul to go to the congregation. It takes about what kind of simulation to implement it, so they need a study," he said.

However, the PKB politician assessed that the meeting between Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar and the Minister of Hajj of Saudi Arabia today was quite productive to find a solution for Indonesian pilgrims who will depart for Hajj this year.

"So I think the meeting was quite productive, conveying various things about Indonesia's needs and the Saudi Arabian ministry of Hajj responded well with the last sentence 'yes, after we have called, we can talk about it well'," said Marwan.
