7 Honorary Teachers In Dompu Cancel PPPK Graduates

A total of seven honorary teachers in Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, were declared canceled as government employees with a work agreement (PPPK).

Regional Secretary of Dompu Regency Gatot Gunawan said the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) found that priority participants for category II honorary staff (THK-II) were not listed in the previous announcement.

"The cancellation was carried out based on the results of a review by the State Civil Service Agency (BKN)," said Gatot in Dompu, Anatra, Wednesday, January 15.

On January 7, 2025, the seven honorary teachers were declared to have passed the PPPK along with 250 teacher formations. Gatot claimed to have signed a letter dated January 8, 2025 addressed to the national selection committee or the national committee.

In the letter, the local government asked the national committee to review the results of the graduation of the Dompu Regency teacher formation because there were six teachers who should have been registered as honorary category II (THK II), in the announcement that graduation was not recorded as honorary category II.

The Dompu Regency Government sent a letter to the national committee because someone had filed a rebuttal. The National Committee finally reviewed the graduation of the teacher formation on January 10, 2025.

"Reconsideration is carried out through the system and not through a notification letter so that seven teachers who were previously declared to have graduated suddenly could not access the input of the filing data," said Gatot.

He denied that the seven honorary teachers in category II were registered as ordinary honorary teachers in the system due to not checking THK-II when registering for PPPK.

According to him, the THK-II tick is only known by the national committee and PPPK participants because registration is done through an application by entering application data.

Selection of PPPK formations in 2024 prioritizes THK-II and teachers who have educator certificates, honorariums registered in BKN, as well as general honorariums with a minimum of two consecutive years of service.

The honorary teachers who canceled their PPPK passed then went to the Dompu Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) office and asked that their graduation be returned to its original state.

"We are none other than asking for our rights, return our rights, ours with the code R3/L (ulus) stated by the Central BKN," said Nurbaiti, one of the teachers who has taught for eight years at SDN 32 Huu.

Nurbaiti emphasized that the selection process had been carried out fairly without cheating and asked for the graduation rights to be returned.
