Indonesian Navy Member Kills Woman In Sorong, Pomal Reveals The Motive For Heartache In Intimate Relations

JAKARTA - The Navy Military Police (AL) Lantamal XIV Sorong, Southwest Papua, revealed the motive of Indonesian Navy personnel with the initials A to kill a woman named Kesia Irena Yola Lestaluhu (20) at Saoka Beach, Sorong City, on Sunday 12 January.

Head of Lidkrim Pomal Lantamal XIV Sorong Major (PM) Anton Sugiharto explained that the motive for the murder case was motivated by the victim's sudden heartache, stopping the ongoing intimate activity.

The perpetrator, who was being influenced by alcohol, took a balance, then stabbed the victim's body several times until he died.

"We found the motive for this murder case because his activities were stopped, then coupled with the influence of alcohol and emotions so that sadistic acts were unavoidable at that time," explained Anton in Sorong, Wednesday, confiscated by Antara,

Based on the results of the examination of witnesses and perpetrators, explained Anton, the victim and the perpetrator entered a nightclub in Sorong City at different hours.

"The perpetrator entered the nightclub on Saturday, January 11, at 23.00 WIT, then the victim and his friends entered at 01.00 WIT in the morning. That's where the initial introduction between the victim and the perpetrator began, right at 02.00 WIT in the morning according to the testimony of witnesses and perpetrators," he said.

Anton said that at 03.00 WIT, the perpetrator and the victim took their fellow perpetrator home. After that, the perpetrator and the victim returned to the nightclub to meet the victim's friend.

As of 04.30 WIT, the victim and perpetrator came out of the nightclub using a black Innova vehicle.

"They had gathered again in front of the Waigo Hotel, the Berlin wall with friends of the victim to continue the rest of the drink from the nightclub. A few moments later the victim's friend with the initials S invited the victim to return home because it was morning. However, the victim refused the invitation and chose to stay with the perpetrator," he explained.

He added that in front of Hotel Waigo, the perpetrator and the victim separated from S and other witnesses headed in a different direction.

"The perpetrator and the victim headed to a hotel in front of the Citra Hotel planning to check in, but it was canceled for reasons that were not conveyed," he said.

From the front of the Citra Hotel on Jalan Baru, Sorong City, the perpetrator and the victim drove to Tanjung Saoka Beach, then there was a forbidden relationship until the perpetrator killed the victim with several stab wounds.

"So, the prohibited activity was influenced by alcohol, then because the perpetrator felt that his activity was stopped suddenly, finally got emotional and stabbed the victim's body with a curve," added Anton.
