JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto visited the KPK's Red and White House in Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, January 13 using a red and white bus vehicle. His presence was to fulfill the second summons from investigators as a suspect in the alleged bribery case for the management of interim replacement (PAW) members of the DPR RI as well as the obstruction of the investigation.

From field observations, Hasto arrived at the KPK office at around 09.30 WIB. He came accompanied by his legal team, including the Chairman of the PDIP DPP Ronny B. Talapessy and Maqdir Ismail.

Hasto arrived by using a red and white striped bus and expressed his readiness to undergo an inspection.

"I will give the best possible information," said Hasto to reporters before entering the lobby of the building.

Arriving in the lobby, Hasto seemed to have exchanged his identity for a special red identification as a standard KPK procedure.

Meanwhile, the KPK confirmed that it would immediately check Hasto after his presence.

"HK has been present (fulfill the summons, ed)," said the KPK spokesman, Tessa Mahardhika, in a written statement to reporters.

Previously, the KPK developed a case of alleged bribery for interim replacement (PAW) involving former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan and fugitive Harun Masiku. In its development, two people have been named as new suspects, namely PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto and Donny Tri Istiqomah, PDIP cadres as well as lawyers.

Hasto is also suspected of being a suspect in the obstruction case of the investigation. He is suspected of obstructing the legal process by asking Harun Masiku to damage his cellphone and run away after the arrest operation (OTT) was carried out.

On Monday, January 6, Hasto should have fulfilled the KPK's summons as a suspect, but asked for a postponement due to attending a series of PDIP Anniversary events that had already been scheduled.
