Prabowo's Message To Gerindra Cadres Winner Of The 2024 Pilkada: Don't Be Corruption!

JAKARTA The General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, gave a firm message to Gerindra cadres who were elected regional heads in the 2024 Pilkada. This message was conveyed through the Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, who reminded the importance of integrity in carrying out the people's mandate.

"Being a regional head is a form of highest service to the people, nation and state. Don't be corrupt! Being a leader means that you have to finish with yourself," said Muzani, conveying Prabowo's message on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

Muzani also explained that Prabowo emphasized the importance of synergy between the regional government and the central government. This gathering with the Gerindra regional head aims to strengthen coordination and communication in solving various problems in society.

"President Prabowo will facilitate communication between all of you and the central government. I am ready to become a connecting bridge for regional interests, including in Lampung Province. Today we are discussing various problems in their respective regions to find joint solutions," explained Muzani.

According to him, regional heads are extensions of the central government, so that the implementation of national programs such as food self-sufficiency, education, and health services must be coordinated properly up to the regional level.

Prabowo also expressed his hope that Lampung would become one of the provinces that support national food self-sufficiency. For this reason, regional heads are advised to record and convey the problems faced by the community, such as infrastructure, education, and health.

"The main problems faced by the regent are infrastructure related to the Ministry of Public Works, agricultural problems related to the Ministry of Agriculture, and basic and secondary education issues related to the Ministry of Education," said Muzani.

He also highlighted the need for attention to improving school infrastructure in Lampung which has begun to be damaged and increasing hospital facilities in the regions.

Muzani closed by reaffirming Prabowo's message that regional heads from the Gerindra Party avoid corruption in carrying out their duties.

"All efforts to advance the region and prosper the people can only be achieved if there is no corruption. That is the main requirement to serve the community well," he concluded.
