TERNATE - Personnel from the Sat Samapta Polres Ternate, North Maluku managed to secure an unknown man (OTK) who was suspected of being drunk with glue while carrying sharp weapons and active ammunition.

Ternate Police Chief AKBP Niko Irawan explained that public reports related to suspicious activities of the man were immediately followed up and secured him.

"The personnel of Unit 2 Sat Samapta, together with the Head of Resmob Unit and led by KBO Sat Samapta Polres Ternate, Ipda Sabone Moni, moved quickly to the location and managed to secure the situation," Niko said when contacted, Antara, Friday, December 13.

This incident occurred in the Islamic cemetery area, Makassar Village, Central Ternate District, last Thursday.

When they arrived at the location, officers found the perpetrator drunk and carrying a number of sharp weapons and ammunition. The perpetrator was immediately secured and taken to the Ternate Police Headquarters for further investigation.

From the hands of the perpetrators, officers secured 43 pieces of evidence of sharp ammunition (41 active grains, 2 damaged grains, 9 sharp weapons and 2 cans of Fox type Lem. said the Head of Public Relations.

"The situation at the location was declared safe under control after the handling by Ternate Police personnel," said the Head of Public Relations.

This case is now in the process of further deepening by the Ternate Police Criminal Investigation Unit Investigators.

As is known, OTK, who is suspected of being drunk with glue while carrying sharp weapons and active ammunition, went viral on social networks, because all body was filled with active ammunition when the police secured it.
