JAKARTA - Several fire victims were still seen scaling the remaining items and iron from the building materials of their burning house on Jalan Kemayoran Gempol RW 05, Kebon Blank Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, December 11, afternoon.

From VOI's observation at the location of the fire, apart from residents who were looking for the rest of their belongings, there were also several children who played in the location of their non-shaped house.

"The cause of the fire yesterday was said to be a gas stove, still cooking and leaving. Then some said it was also because of the short circuit in the electric stove as well. It was still confusing," said Hasnah, a resident around the fire site, Wednesday, December 11.

The fire scorched as many as 200 houses in RT 02 to RT 09 in RW 05, Kebon Blank Village, Kemayoran on Tuesday, December 10, yesterday.

"If the victim dies, maybe there will be people from the corner there," he said.

Previously, it was reported that hundreds of houses on Jalan Kebon Blank, RW 04, Pasar Haji Ung (Jiung), Kebon Blank Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta, were burned to the ground on Tuesday, December 10, afternoon.

The flames quickly spread and burned hundreds of houses made of semi-permanent buildings.

In addition, fire engines are also difficult to reach hotspots because road access to hotspots is very narrow.

"The fire report came in at 12.25 WIB. The object caught fire at the residence," said fire picket officer, Tuesday, December 10.
