Jokowi Opens With Ministers At The Palace

JAKARTA - The Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensesneg) held a iftar that brought together President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet at the State Palace in Jakarta.

"Yes, this is about breaking the fast together," said Agrarian and Spatial Planning Minister (ATR) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, who is usually called AHY, when rushing to enter the entrance gate of the State Palace, Thursday, March 28.

The iftar agenda was jointly held in the meeting room of the State Palace. There are about 15 round dining tables along with six chairs per table.

It appears that President Jokowi accompanied by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin sat together at the same table with the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto and the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto.

A number of ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet were also present, including the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati who was at the same table with the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Menlu) Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi, and the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (MenkopUKM) Teten Masduki.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno sat in a shirt with AHY, Deputy Minister of Health (Wamenkes) Dante Saksono Harbuwono.

Then the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo, Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian, and Minister of Religion (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas.

The agenda of breaking the fast with the President and the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet was preceded by the delivery of a seven-minute (cultum) lecture delivered by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.
