Current Condition At The South Sulawesi Governor’s House Of Office After Subjected To OTT

MAKASSAR - The KPK conducted a hand-arrest/Operasi Tangkap Tangan (OTT) operation against the Governor of South Sulawesi, Nurdin Abdullah. Nurdin was secured at the office in Makassar.

Based on VOI's observation, the condition of the residence of South Sulawesi governor Nurdin Abdullah on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Makassar, was observed to be deserted.

There were no striking activities including security in the Governor's house of office. Meanwhile, Veronica Moniaga, a spokesperson for the South Sulawesi provincial government, has not been able to explain Nurdin Abdullah's OTT.

"We can't confirm this right now. As soon as possible, we will notify you when we receive the information", said Veronica, Saturday, February 27.

As previously reported, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Deputy Chairman Nurul Ghufron confirmed the existence of the South Sulawesi regional head OTT. The OTT was held on the evening of Friday, February 26.

"That's right, Friday, February 26, 2021, at midnight, the KPK has arrested the perpetrators of corruption in the South Sulawesi region", said Ghufron.
