Reward Message For Football Supporters: Please Be Orderly, Show Football Is Entertaining

JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, gave a special message for Indonesian football fans. This is reflected in the last experience, where two Persib Bandung supporters died, while providing support for their favorite team on the field.

"Reflecting on the recent incident, I urge the fans to be orderly. The incident in Bandung was due to sports (cramping), that's why I ask for everything to be orderly," said Ganjar in his written statement, Monday, June 20.

Ganjar asked the organizing committee for the President's Cup to evaluate. Such an incident should not happen again.

“The committee must regulate the inflow. If necessary, give a route, so that they can all be orderly and not overcrowded,” he said.

In addition, Ganjar also appealed to all supporters to maintain friendship and peace. Moreover, football is a sport that shows the quality of the game, strategy, and presents an interesting spectacle.

"So we really have to show an atmosphere of friendship. Let's show that football is interesting, peaceful, entertaining, and football is educational," he said.

Ganjar said he was happy, during the CFD event there were a number of supporters who unfurled banners of friendship and peace. He asked for the condition to be maintained.

“I was happy that at CFD, there were Persis Solo and PSIS Semarang banners that were unfurled by the fans. I think those are good ways to prepare preconditions so that everything goes smoothly. For the fans, let's be orderly while watching, cheer up your favorite team but in peace," he concluded.
