JAKARTA - The police have arrested a number of people who wanted to infiltrate a group of students who were going to hold a demonstration on April 11. In fact, two of them were found carrying sharp weapons.

"While we are still taking data on the two people carrying sharp weapons. It is still running," said Director of the General Crime Investigation Unit, Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat, to reporters on Monday, April 11.

However, it has not been specified about the number of people who have been detained. Including their identity.

However, Tubagus said that some of them are vocational high school (SMK) students and some are from outside Jakarta.

"There are various kinds. Some are from Cianjur, some are from SMK children, there are various kinds," he said.

Tubagus continued, the reason they were arrested was because they did not represent students. Temporary confessions, they came because they were instigated by calls circulating on social media.

The intruders were also arrested at several points. For example, around the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta.

"They are currently being secured around the Monas area at several other points and there are quite a lot of them whose elements are not clear," said Tubagus.
