Viral Bearded Man Kicks Residents' Offerings In Lumajang, Abu Janda: They Are The Cause Of Islamophobia

JAKARTA - A video showing the action of a bearded man kicking and throwing offerings placed by residents of Sumbersari Pronojiwo Village, Lumajang, has gone viral on social media. This video was also shared by social media activist Permadi Arya on his official Instagram page, @permadiaktivis2, Sunday, January 9.

In the 25-second video, a man wearing a black vest can be seen kicking an offering belonging to a local resident while saying 'Allahu Akbar'. There are several points that show this man throwing away the offerings placed by residents.

"Many adherents of Hinduism are also Kejawen sects in the Semeru eruption area. Residents of Sumbersari Pronojiwo village, Lumajang just had the village/ruwatan alms ritual, their offerings were thrown away & kicked while shouting Allahu akbar," wrote Abu Janda quoted on Sunday, January 9.

Abu Janda was infuriated and called such actions the cause of Islamophobia.

"Radical Muslims who are intolerant of the ISIS flow like them are the main cause of the birth of Islamophobia. Don't blame it if there is a fear of Islam if a ba***** group wearing a dress like them continues to be allowed," he stressed.

Abu Janda then invited netizens to mention the Regent of Lumajang on Instagram with the name @thoriqul.haq. He hopes that the perpetrators can be hunted down by the authorities.

"Help mention the regent of Lumajang, Mr. @thoriqul.haq, let's mention as much as possible so that this bastard is hunted down by the authorities," wrote Abu Janda.
