Criticism Of The Job Creation Act With Many Invisible Hands On Twitter, Fadli Zon Is Even Processed By The DPR MKD

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives' Honorary Court (MKD) has processed a report against Gerindra faction member Fadli Zon regarding his tweet about the Job Creation Act on his Twitter account.

In his tweet (@fadlizon), Fadli criticized the Job Creation Law which was deemed to be null and void because it was contrary to the constitution and had many problems from the start of the process.

Fadli Zon's tweet was reported by Gusnaidi Hetminado or Teddy to the MKD DPR RI on November 29, 2021. Fadli was accused of violating the code of ethics because it alluded to the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding the Job Creation Law on his personal social media account.

Deputy Chairman of the MKD DPR RI Andi Rio said his party had received an explanation from the complainant on Wednesday, December 8. Furthermore, he said, the MKD will hold a plenary meeting to determine the next steps.

"We will then have a meeting (leadership meeting) to determine the next steps. Maybe next week we will have a plenary meeting," said Andi Rio to reporters, Thursday, December 9.

Even so, Andi Rio denied that the plenary meeting would be to determine the time when Fadli Zon was summoned by the MKD. Until now, he said, there is no plan for when to summon the chairman of the DPR's BKSAP.

"Not yet (the summons, ed). At the plenary meeting, it has not been determined when to summon Fadli Zon," he said.

The main point of this complaint is related to Fadli Zon's comments on his Twitter account on November 27, 2021. The following is the tweet:

"This law should be annulled because it is against the constitution and there have been many problems since the beginning of the process. There are too many invisible hands. If it is repaired within 2 years, it means that it cannot be used, which has not been repaired," wrote Fadli.
