It Turns Out That Mustafa Was Accompanied By The Former Chairman Of Central Lampung DPRD During Azis Syamsuddin's Lobby

JAKARTA - The former chairman of the Central Lampung DPRD, Achmad Junaidi Sunardi, admitted to accompanying the former Central Lampung Regent Mustafa to lobby the former Deputy Speaker of the DPR from the Golkar Party faction, Azis Syamsuddin, to obtain the Special Allocation Fund for the 2017 Fiscal Year.

"Not long after Mr. Azis was elected as head of the Bangar, when I was in Jakarta I had technical guidance, Mr. Mustafa was also in Jakarta, we took a taxi to Mr. Azis' house, 'Sir, where's your position? Mustafa wants to get in touch, Sir, please meet at 12.00 western Indonesia time," he said in a hearing at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor), Monday.

Junaidi testified via a video conference link from the Rajabasa Penitentiary in Bandar Lampung, where he was serving a 4-year sentence for accepting a bribe from Mustafa amounting to Rp1.25 billion to approve a loan plan for the Central Lampung Regency area to PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI) amounting to Rp300 billion in 2018.

Junaidi is the Chair of the Central Lampung DPRD for the 2017-2020 period.

"As chairman of the Central Lampung Golkar DPD, Mustafa changed his party to the Nasdem Party after becoming regent, so he has a long relationship with Mr. Azis," said Junaidi.

During the meeting, Junaidi admitted that he had heard that there was a 7 percent "commitment fee" mentioned by Azis and Mustafa.

"As soon as the three of them met, I conveyed the purpose of the meeting, then (Azis and Mustafa) had a special meeting and then I left but I only heard 7 percent," added Junaidi.

After the meeting was over, Junaidi admitted that he had received Mustafa's comments.

"After saying goodbye, in the car Mr. Mustafa said 'Mr. Chairman seems to be canceling', after that I didn't anymore," said Junaidi.

"So on July 21, I received an order from Mr. Taufik to find a loan to give Aliza a total of Rp2.085 billion. First, I gave Rp1.135 billion to Aliza at the mall, the money was taken by a friend and then exchanged into Singapore dollars. Second, Rp950 million at the Veranda Hotel, I handed it over to Aliza and brought her friend and exchanged it for dollars," said Aan at the Corruption Court.

After he gave the money to Aliza Gunado, who is Azis Syamsuddin's confidant, Aan then reported it to the Head of the Central Lampung Highways Office, Taufik Rahman.

"Aan contacted me, he said it had been given to Vios Cafe," said Taufik.

Vios cafe is referred to as a cafe run by Azis Syamsuddin's younger brother, Vio.
