To create a WhatsApp Status using a video that has a duration of more than 30 seconds, you can first open the WhatsApp application on your smartphone.

Next, click the "Status" menu in the middle of the main page of your WhatsApp account, or swipe the screen to the left to enter the "WhatsApp Status" menu.

Next, click on the "My Status" option or the camera icon to create a new WhatsApp Status. A choice will appear whether you want to record a video or take a video from the phone gallery.

You can record it if you want to make a live video status, or click the "Gallery" menu if you already have a video to make your status.

Once you've decided which video to set as "WhatsApp Status," you can trim the video clip to the desired length. The trick, you can choose the duration of the first one to 30 seconds by sliding the "Cut" tool to the left side.

If the video has been cut, click the "Send" button in the lower right corner to directly upload the content as WhatsApp Status. To prevent the video from being cut off or longer than 30 seconds, you'll need to re-upload the video.

Select the same content to upload as "WhatsApp Status". Furthermore, when entering the editing page, you can drag the "Cut" tool in the 30th second to the next second to display the remaining video clips from the previous content.
