Good News For Chelsea Fans, Pulisic Returns To Training Ahead Of Match Against Newcastle
JAKARTA - Chelsea confirmed on Thursday that Christian Pulisic had returned to training ahead of Saturday's Premier League match against Newcastle United.
Pulisic picked up an ankle injury while playing for the United States during the international break last month.
As a result, the 23-year-old has not featured for Chelsea since their 3-0 win over Crystal Palace in their league opener on August 14.
Additionally, defensive midfielder N'Golo Kante and defenders Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta, who all missed Chelsea's League Cup win over Southampton on Wednesday, also returned to training.
In that match, the Blues needed a penalty shootout to beat Soton in the last 16 of the English League Cup which previously ended in a 1-1 draw.
