Full Of Pride, National Police Chief Sigit Calls Indonesia Number 1 In Southeast Asia Successfully Controlling COVID-19
JAKARTA - National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, stated Indonesia is the country with the first rank in handling COVID-19 in Southeast Asia.
This is evidenced by the daily decline in daily positive COVID-19 cases. Where daily cases had touched tens of thousands, currently only hundreds.
"Currently we are ranked 1 in Southeast Asia for controlling the rate of COVID-19", said Listyo Sigit at Lion Star Group, North Jakarta, Friday, October 29.
Based on data from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes), the positive rate on a national scale is far below the WHO standard. Where currently at 0.5 percent.
"During the last few weeks, our positive rate is far below 1 but 0.5 percent", said Sigit.
