12 Schools In Semarang Have Not Held Face-to-Face Learning Because They Did Not Get Parental Permission

JAKARTA - The Semarang City Education Office noted that there are still 12 schools in the capital city of Central Java Province that have not held face-to-face learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

holding face-to-face learning. It's around 99 percent," said Head of the Semarang City Education Office Gunawan Saptogiri in Semarang, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, October 27.

He explained 12 schools that have not held face to face learning was because students' parents didn't give permission.

There are still many parents who have not allowed their children to take part in face-to-face learning," he added.

He emphasized that absolute parental permission was given before students took part in face-to-face learning.

The face-to-face learning that has been held since August 30, 2021 in the area, he said, has been running safely and smoothly.

He said that no COVID-19 clusters were found in schools during this face-to-face learning.

He hopes that this condition can be maintained so that there will not be another spike in COVID cases.
